First Steps and Shared Growth: Results from the Inter-School Indoor Rowing Competition
1 Jun 2026

This marks the very first time our students have competed in the Inter-School Indoor Rowing Competition. Facing an unfamiliar sport, it was natural for them to feel slightly nervous. However, every athlete rose to the occasion, boldly embracing the challenge and taking a valuable first step that yielded immense personal growth on the field.

Rankings serve merely as temporary reference points. The true essence of this competition lies in the students' mastery of new techniques, the accumulation of practical racing experience, and the cultivation of a resilient mindset—one that allows them to perform steadily under pressure and persevere to the very end. Throughout the two-day event, our athletes supported and encouraged one another. Through this collective effort, they not only earned recognition and remarkable results, but also gained a significant boost in self-confidence and a clearer vision for their future development.

The competition results are detailed below:

  • Wong Man Nga | Girls C Grade 300m (4th Place)

  • Yu Kin | Boys C Grade 300m (9th Place)

  • Cheung Tin Kai | Boys A Grade 1000m (8th Place)

  • Chong Ching | Girls C Grade 1000m (8th Place)

  • Ho Yuk Hin | Boys B Grade 2000m (9th Place)

We hope our students will channel this unforgettable experience into motivation. By upholding the spirit of teamwork and continuous improvement, and through consistent, dedicated training, we look forward to seeing them break new ground and achieve even greater success in future events and competitions.
